Why Software Engineering?
The world's largest digital solutions are built on software: complex, scalable systems that must operate reliably under pressure, at scale, and in real time. As an MSc in Software Engineering, you help develop robust and scalable software solutions that drive digital innovation in Denmark and internationally.
On the three-year Industrial Master's, you combine studies and work, which allows you to continuously apply your theoretical knowledge in practice and gain engineering experience in industry while you study.
Course highlights
In the first year, you study full-time, learning to develop advanced software systems with a focus on software architecture, model-based development, data-intensive technologies, and software for the Internet of Things. You gain the skills to analyse, design, and build software capable of handling complex requirements and large volumes of data.
In the second and third years, you work at least 25 hours a week in a company – either one you find yourself or one SDU can help you find – while studying part-time.
