How is Artificial Intelligence structured?

The bachelor’s programme in Artificial Intelligence is completed over three years, with each year divided into two semesters.

In your first year, you will acquire essential foundational skills, such as programming, to prepare you for more advanced studies in Artificial Intelligence.

In your second year, you will explore topics in greater depth, including machine learning, functional programming, and calculus.

In your third and final year, you will be able to tailor your studies to suit your interests through elective modules. The programme culminates in a bachelor’s project.

Further study

Most students choose to supplement their bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence with a master’s degree. A bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence gives you a legal claim to admission to the following master’s programmes:

Others choose to combine their bachelor’s degree in Artificial Intelligence with a different master’s programme, for example:

Please note that some master’s programmes have specific admission requirements, and there may be a limited number of spots available.

Academic culture in Denmark

Danish academic culture is characterised by active participation in class, group work and critical thinking. Rather than simply accumulating and reproducing knowledge, you will be expected to analyse, question and discuss the course topics.

The relationship between lecturers and students is often rather informal; students and lecturers may find themselves joking together and engaging in vigorous debates during classes and lectures.
