How is Artificial Intelligence structured?

The bachelor’s programme in Artificial Intelligence is completed over three years, with each academic year divided into two semesters.

In your first year, you will acquire essential foundational skills, such as programming, to prepare you for more advanced studies in Artificial Intelligence.

In your second year, you will explore topics in greater depth, including machine learning, functional programming, and calculus.

In your third and final year, you will be able to tailor your studies to suit your interests through elective modules. The programme culminates in a bachelor’s project.

A typical week

Below is an example of what a schedule might look like for a student in the 1st semester. Teaching hours and workload may vary from week to week. As a general rule, classes may be scheduled on weekdays between 8:15 am and 6:00 pm. You should expect to spend approximately 20 hours per week in scheduled teaching activities and a further 20 hours per week on preparation, group work and assignment writing.
