Public Health Genomics- PHGEN II
PHGEN II -European Best Practice Guidelines for Quality Assurance, Provision and Use of Genome-based Information and Technologies. The aim is to produce the first edition of the Guidelines. The Unit is part of the Work Package 5 (User perspectives), which is lead by INSERM, Paris, France.
The general objective of the PHGEN II is to produce the 1st edition of ‘European Best Practice Guidelines for Quality Assurance, Provision and Use of Genome-based Information and Technologies’. The guidelines assist EU Member states, applicant countries and EFTA-EEA countries with evidence-based guidance on timely and responsible integration of genome-based information and technologies into health care systems for the benefit of the population.
