Research: How to apply for data?

Be aware that collaboration must be approved by the Danish Data Protection Agency and/or in some cases by the Health Research Ethics Committee.

Application Form

Then download our project application form click here: [Project application form], fill it in and submit your proposal to the Danish Twin Registry.

Your application will be given a reference number and will be submitted to the DTR Scientific Board. You can expect to hear from us within 4-6 weeks.

When approved - your dataset will be available on our server

To enhance data security, your dataset normally will be made available to you through a secure connection to our server at the University of Southern Denmark. You must sign a Data Use Agreement in advance.

The costs of a DTR data set

The price for your dataset will depend on the time our data managers spend on assisting you and constructing your dataset. Usually, the price will be DKK 1,200 per hour. The connection to the server including storage space costs DKK 5,000 per year.

The following credit line and disclaimer must be used on all reports, publications, and other materials resulting from use of data provided by the DTR: “Data used for this research were provided by the Danish Twin Registry, University of Southern Denmark.
