Measurement Lab

PsychMeasure conducts collaborative research with professionals and practitioners from psychological and non-psychological disciplines as well as research partners from other research institutions. The research group has a particular focus on modern test theory methods (e.g. item response theory (IRT) – Rasch-modeling, confirmatory factor analysis, structural equation modeling etc.) within educational, work and organizational, and health psychology.

Typical PsychMeasure research includes: development of new measurements scales, validity studies, development of methods and methodology within the IRT paradigm to be utilized in investigation and or development of measurement scales, studies employing psychological measurement scales, studies exploring psychological constructs and relationships between such, and studies exploring the intra- and inter-personal processes related to the use of tests.
