Jesper Jensen Designs for learning with Web 2.0 & Web 3.0

This PH.D project primarily aims to examine the pedagogical potentials of utilizing web 2.0 and web 3.0 technology in and between educational contexts. The project has a particularly strong emphasis on web 3.0 designs for learning and explores both methodological and pedagogical issues as well as technological issues of developing designs for learning based on web 3.0 technology. Furthermore, the project includes a Design Based Research project, which is conducted in a number of biology and chemistry classes at a Danish high school. Here, a number of designs for learning focused on web 2.0 and web 3.0 concept mapping are being developed and tested in close collaboration with teachers and students.

Billedmediernes betydning for nyere møbeldesign.

Digital cultural heritage - User-Centred Design for cultural mediation
Due to today’s digital society, users’ communication and reception behaviour and their expectations regarding the dissemination of information have significantly changed. This also applies for cultural institutions. Since mediation and education are integral parts of cultural institutions, information and communication technologies (ICT) are becoming increasingly important for cultural mediation.
As User-Centred Design proved as a useful approach for developing satisfying solutions, the purpose of this Ph.D. project is to provide guidance on considering users’ requirements in ICT design projects for digital cultural mediation.

Veronica Yepez-Reyes  Global Fairness in Digital Interaction: a rhizomatic analysis of social imaginaries
My project deals with digital interaction, the multi-ways communication process that takes place in the web 2.0. I focus on digital interaction happening in Facebook and Twitter of 5 social movement organisations that share a common understanding of global fairness: equality, solidarity, participation, sustainability and change. My aim is to find out whether and how social imaginaries of global fairness are built in digital interaction.
