The purpose of this is to optimise and focus on the semester as a coherent pedagogical whole based on The Engineering Education Model of the University of Southern Denmark (DSMI).
Evaluations of the 1st – 4th semesters are carried out via:
- A quantitative evaluation (questionnaire). The purpose of this to shed light on the learning environment and coherence of the semester, as well as to form the basis for the subsequent qualitative (oral) evaluation. The results from the semester evaluations can be seen here.
- A follow-up qualitative (oral) final evaluation between the semester coordinator and the students on the semester.
The overall results of the faculty's semester evaluations are discussed by the engineering programmes’ study boards and programme-specific education committees, as well as at the annual status review between programme and faculty management.
