Your task as a tutor:
- Assist during the intro days Monday to Thursday in week 35
As a volunteer tutor, you will be assigned to a exercise class. Each exercise class has a coordinating tutor who is responsible for the program and the overall execution of the activities. You are expected to be practical and social support on the exercise class. - Be a role model
As a volunteer tutor, you will be a role model for the new students and share your personal experiences with university life. You need to be aware of this role when meeting the new students. - Attend Tutor Day August 13 (all day)
In preparation for the intro days, we will hold a tutor day for all volunteer tutors.
As a volunteer tutor, you will also be invited to an information meeting during May. (Date follows)
The purpose of the intro days is to give the new students the best starting point to become good students in the academic community. The days will focus on activities that introduce the new students to their fellow students, the university's expectations, the structure and content of the programme and important practical matters.
