- Only available to researchers/supervisors from SDU.
- Booking of setups for free is available for research purposes and students working on their bachelor or master thesis. If the booking is for a student(s), the supervisor is responsible and the contact person to SDU I4.0Lab.

This option is theoretically possible and is nothing that has been tried and tested yet. Contact I40LAB@mmmi.sdu.dk if you are interested in this possibility. Note, technical support is not for free, but a paid service.
Applications involving the SDU I4.0Lab
Applications for research and/or development projects (e.g., for Innovation Fund Denmark, Horizon Europe, Novo Nordisk Fonden) that mention the use of I4.0Lab resources (e.g., any of the possibilities mentioned above) require the explicit pre-approval from the I4.0Lab before being submitted. Please contact I40LAB@mmmi.sdu.dk in good time.
Teaching activities
Relevant for employees at SDU, who want to apply for teaching activity in the SDU I4.0Lab. Please note that teaching setups are not provided free of cost. We offer two kind of borrowing equipment for teaching activities:
For a whole semester:
- You can borrow a setup for 10.000 DKK for a whole semester.
- The deadline for handing in wishes for the Spring semester is the 2nd of January and for the Autumn semester the 2nd of August.
- The application form can be found on SDU I4.0Lab - Teaching applications (only access for SDU employees) and must be emailed to: I40LAB@mmmi.sdu.dk before the deadline.
Up to 2 weeks:
- You can borrow a setup for up to two weeks for 2000 DKK.
- The application form can be found on SDU I4.0Lab - Teaching applications (only access for SDU employees) and must at least three weeks before expected starting date be emailed to: I40LAB@mmmi.sdu.dk.
