Throughout the programme, you will encounter advanced methods such as machine learning, optimisation and symbolic AI, while gaining insight into law, ethics and business strategy. After graduation, you will be able to analyse data, build complex algorithms and deploy AI systems that create value for organisations and society.
You will learn to:
- develop and optimise machine learning models for prediction and automation.
- apply AI responsibly, considering ethical and legal implications.
- bridge technology and business to deliver solutions that drive innovation.
- transform theory into practice through case work and industry collaboration.
Teaching
Critical thinking and freedom of speech are core values in the Danish education system, and you will be encouraged to analyse, question and discuss the course topics and materials.
The teaching combines lectures, exercises and project work. You will attend traditional lectures when the theoretical foundations are presented, and you will also work with the material in smaller group sessions and workshops.
All teaching takes place on campus in Odense. You will experience a balanced approach where theory is linked to practical projects, enabling you to turn knowledge into real solutions. Throughout the programme, you will engage in case studies and industry projects that give you the chance to tackle real-world challenges and gain hands-on experience. There are also opportunities to participate in workshops and projects with businesses, and you can choose electives across faculties to strengthen the interdisciplinary dimension.
The thesis in the fourth semester is project-based and offers the possibility of collaborating with companies or combining supervision from different fields such as law, ethics, humanities and technology.
In short: the teaching is practice-oriented, project-driven and interdisciplinary, giving you both deep technical knowledge and the ability to apply AI in complex, real-world contexts.
