Choices and options
Lorem ipsum.
In the 4th and 5th semesters, you have the opportunity to choose elective courses, allowing you to delve into areas that particularly interest you. These choices enable you to tailor your skills within areas such as advanced control, software, or mechanical design.
In the 5th semester, you have the option to spend a semester abroad. Here, you will gain international experience and new academic perspectives while enhancing your linguistic and cultural skills.
Right from the start of your studies, you will work in project groups on real-world challenges—often in collaboration with companies. This gives you the opportunity to apply theory in practice and specialize through your projects.
In the 6th semester, you will write your bachelor project, where you will delve into a self-chosen topic within mechatronics and consolidate your skills from the entire program.
After completing your bachelor's degree, you can pursue a Master of Science in Engineering in Mechatronics and choose between profiles such as Embedded Systems or Cyber-Physical Systems. Your choice helps define your academic direction and career opportunities.

Academic culture in Denmark
Danish academic culture is characterised by active participation in class, group work and critical thinking. Rather than simply accumulating and reproducing knowledge, you will be expected to analyse, question and discuss the course topics.
The relationship between lecturers and students is often rather informal; students and lecturers may find themselves joking together and engaging in vigorous debates during classes and lectures.
