The objective of the Health Foundation is to create the background for improved quality of life and health for members of the public.
The Health Foundation – for the social and health-related areas
The purpose of the Health Foundation is to support research, experiments and developments in the social and health-related areas.
If you intend to carry out a project that lies in the intersection between society and health, you can apply to the Health Foundation for a research grant.
You can also apply for support for a salary in connection with a PhD project, but not for tuition fees. It is also possible to apply for support for a maximum of 20% of overheads.
When considering your application, the Health Foundation attaches importance to the following:
- that the project has a realistic chance of being implemented, scientifically and financially
- that it is probable that the project will promote the health and living conditions of the public or target group and that there is a description of how this will be documented in connection with the project
- feasibility
- scientific and quality-related news value and originality
