- Cooperation with startup company AirWallet (Ongoing)
The main aim of the project is to prepare AirWallet for entering the US market with their proprietary payment system. Today most launderettes use payment based on pay-per-use. But indications from the market points towards a subscription-based payment method being preferred by the users. In relation to the technical development of a subscription-based payment method AirWallet is interested in SDU expertise within development of various business models for subscription and development of data supporting the models. The project is funded via Digitaliseringsbooster.
- Cooperation with startup company AirWallet ApS (finished 2021).
The main aim of the project is to enable AirWallet to expand their business into the European market. Today, AirWallet serves the Danish market with a seamless payment method for private launderettes. It is the aim of the project to collect rigorous data to support the technical development of solutions suitable for other countries than Denmark and to develop business models for the rollout of the AirWallet payment solutions to other countries in Europe. The project is funded via Digitaliseringsbooster.
SDU Global Sustainable Production section provides courses for DANIDA to third-world countries, such as training activities:
- Six weeks Occupational Health and Safety course for labor inspectors from Myanmar, Bangladesh and Vietnam: Last time held in 2020.
- Management and Leadership training for public service leaders (working with Occupational Health and Safety or similar) from Myanmar and Bangladesh: Last time held in 2020.
- Furthermore, the SDU Global Sustainable Production section provides consultantcy services to DANIDA regarding their evaluation on leadership training.
