The department has a broad network and research collaborations with several specialties within the hospital as well as external institutes. Current areas of focus include:
- Rhinology
- Sleep apnea
- Method development with computational fluid dynamics in nasal surgery
- Thyroid disorders
In addition, the research group provides mentorship and is active in research related to PhD programs. A priority goal is to involve resident physicians in research activities.
