The research aims to understand human diseases by investigating biochemical and immunological mechanisms in health and disease. This is done with the purpose of enabling early, safe diagnosis and treatment, including screening and prevention. As part of this effort, we conduct research on biomarkers.
We educate both specialist doctors and researchers and have approximately one PhD student per year.
