  • A master's programme is a two year course of study at graduate level. Admission requires a bachelor's degree from a university or a professional bachelor's degree from a business academy.

    A master's programme can be the direct continuation of your bachelor's degree or you can change direction and expand your knowledge by choosing a different subject.

  • Depending on the ECTS of the programme, a master's programme takes 1 or 2 years of full-time study.

    A master's for working professionals lasts longer because you study part-time and combine your studies with a part-time job that is relevant to your studies.

  • Yes, SDU offers around 50 master's programmes taught in English.

  • No, you do not need a Danish degree to apply for a master's programme in Denmark. You can apply if you have a relevant bachelor’s degree from any recognised university in Denmark or other countries.

  • Tuition fees depend on your residency.

    Students from EU/EEA countries and Switzerland study free of charge.

    Students from outside the EU/EEA are required to pay tuition fees, which at SDU typically range from EUR 6,000 to 8,500 per semester. Scholarships and funding options are available for eligible international students.
