Mark Shucksmith seminar on 12 May

Mark Shucksmith is one of two opponents on the PhD defence of Annette Aargaard Thuesen on 12 May (see below). On the same day, a seminar will be introduced by Shucksmith with a presentation called: “Sustainable rural communities: are rural policies across Europe promoting sustainable ruralities.” Mark Shucksmith is professor of planning and director of Research and Consultancy at the University of Newcastle and one of the world’s leading rural sociologists.
