The Faculty of Science can confer the title of adjunct professor or adjunct associate professor to a distinguished researcher whom the faculty wishes to honour with this title, thereby establishing a closer association. The faculty may also award the title of honorary fellow to an individual who, while not being a researcher, possesses qualifications at a high professional level.
