AI Learning Lab

In this presentation, Chunfang Zhou will introduce the newly established AI Learning Lab, outlining its mission, core research areas and key functions of the Lab. These include human-AI co-creative learning experiences, AI-assisted pedagogy design, teacher training and education, and AI professional education. Chunfang will also highlight recent publications, research networks, and ongoing activities that support the development of the Lab. The session will conclude with an interactive discussion, inviting the audience to rethink AI as a socio-technological system and reflect on ways to foster creative, sustainable, and ethical AI practices in education and beyond.

Computer Science Education, art-based methods and AI technologies

In this presentation, Emanuela Marchetti will present her ongoing research on Computational Thinking and Computer Science education, with reference to a practice-based investigation on AI tools for academic writing, in connection to SDU Kolding and the AI and Learning Lab. Another perspective that will be addressed is code as art-material, as exemplified by the Taxonomies project and possible directions to investigate in connection with the USE project, where art-making is seen as an epistemological resource.
