January Conference 2026 & Reception for Prof. Ask Elklit
The year 2025 marks the 40th anniversary of the establishment of psychotraumatology in Denmark, and the year in which Prof. Ask Elklit received the prestigious Wolter de Loos Award for Distinguished Contribution to Psychotraumatology in Europe from the European Society for Traumatic Stress Studies, in recognition of his groundbreaking and significant contributions to shaping European psychotraumatology.
The year 2026 will mark the moment when Prof. Ask Elklit passes on the leadership of Danish psychotraumatology to the next generation of researchers. On this occasion, the Danish Knowledge Center for Psychotraumatology invites you to the 11th January Conference, themed:
Psychotraumatology in the Past, Present, and Future: The Status of 40 Years of Trauma Research, followed by a reception.
On this occasion, you are invited to a conference with the theme:
“Psychotraumatology in the Past, Present, and Future: The Status of 40 Years of Trauma Research.”
A reception will be held following the conference.
