Madeline completed her PhD on non-response bias in longitudinal clinical samples of recently bereaved individuals, where she explored different methodological approaches to capture prolonged grief disorder and other complicated grief reactions across both surveys and Danish health registers.
Currently, Madeline is a post-doc on the Rockwool project investigating the long-term effects of child maltreatment in a sample now in their 40s. Additionally, relevant 'tipping points' across life will be examined if there are further protective or risk factors identified in adults who have experienced childhood maltreatment.
