POLIMA in the snow

As usually, POLIMA started the new year with a two days retreat. This is the time to welcome new employees, discuss what is happening in POLIMA and just enjoy spending time with colleagues. 

This year, we revisited the POLIMA research strategy which was created three years ago when the POLIMA Centre of Excellence opened with 12 researchers on board. The research team has grown significantly and is now consisting of 24 researchers. With such a growth, we start seeing new research lines appearing and having the opportunity to discuss the future strategy with the whole team present was very valuable. 

A part from the more scientific part of the retreat, it was also great with enjoying some Danish 'smørrebrød', making a snow man and having colleagues telling about their hobbies. The latter was especially impressive, and we heard about crop growing, kite surfing, Italian wine and book collections.
