Our research on nonlocal electrodynamics studies nanoscale electromagnetic response beyond classical local descriptions due to spatial dispersion and quantum effects.

We develop theoretical models for charge dynamics and optical response in metals and low-dimensional materials, including nonlocal plasmonic resonances and quantum-corrected boundary conditions, enabling predictive descriptions of subwavelength light–matter interactions relevant to advanced experiments and nanoscale photonic and plasmonic technologies.
