PhD Defense and visit from Birmingham

Congratulations to Nikolaos Kyvelos who successfully defended his PhD Thesis with the title: 'Enhanced Light–Matter Interactions in Chiral, Topological, and Plasmonic Nanophotonic Systems'.

The evaluation committee consisted of the following members:

• Søren Raza, Associate Professor, Technical University of Denmark
• Shailesh Kumar, Associate Professor, University of Southern Denmark

Angela Demetriadou stayed an extra day at POLIMA and gave a seminar with the title: Light-matter Strong coupling in extreme nanophotonic cavities'.
