Abstract

In this talk, Antonio I. Fernández Domínguez  will discuss about photon-mediated interactions between quantum emitters. He will present different nanophotonics-based strategies to generate pure states of quantum emitters. First, he will investigate the creation of highly entangled multiqubit states through the inverse engineering of their photonic environment under incoherent [1] and coherent pumping conditions [2]. Second, he will show the preparation of topologically-protected edge states in chains of emitters using a similar design approach [3]. Third, he will discuss the capabilities of modulated electron beams for the preparation and readout of the quantum state of single emitters [4] and polaritonic systems [5]. Finally, using similar approaches,  Antonio I. Fernández Domínguez will introduce the so-called geometric antibunching in quantum emitter pairs, which surprisingly, is insensitive to the quantum state of the emitter themselves [6].
