FNUG Research Seminar, where Associate Professor at FNUG Chunfang Zhou will give a presentation on AI Learning Lab, and Associate Professor at FNUG Emanuela Marchetti will give a presentation on Computer Science Education. The seminar will be conducted in English.

Friday, July 4, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM

This extended seminar focuses on educational ecosystems, featuring a mix of presentations, exhibits, and discussion forums.

The collaborative international meeting offers participants the opportunity to explore how educational ecosystems can be thoughtfully built and sustained amid the complexities of contemporary education, with a special focus on STEM education.

Hosted by FNUG, the event introduces the center’s work and its foundational perspectives on STEM educational ecosystems. Attendees will have the opportunity to create and engage with exhibits and walkthroughs of innovative learning environments, sparking dialogue on pedagogical and learning environment design.

Tuesday, October 7, 2:00–4:00 PM

Science Education Hub Kickoff, where partners will have the opportunity to meet across disciplines. Vice Dean Poul Nielsen, Professor Connie Svabo, and Head of Administration Rie Troelsen will introduce the Hub’s vision and preliminary activity plan. The keynote presentation will be delivered by Professor at the Department of Science Education Lars Ulriksen with the presentation “Students’ Journey into Academia,” which will form the basis for the afternoon workshop, including a coffee break along the way. The event concludes with sparkling wine and sweets.

The seminar “AI in Nordic Education” is part of the ongoing activities in the NordicEdAI network, funded by Vetenskapsrådet (the Swedish Research Council). The purpose is to strengthen collaboration and knowledge sharing among Nordic researchers within AI and education.

Research seminar with presentations by Charlotta Hilli, Associate Professor at Åbo Akademi, Finland, and Michael Petersen, Associate Professor at FNUG, SDU. After the seminar, we will hold FNUG Christmas social gathering.
