My Digital Competency Portfolio

The project aims to increase competency awareness among students by introducing a reflection practice in teaching. The project includes a research component that will be anchored in USE.

The Faculty of Science is launching a four-year project, "My Digital Competency Portfolio," to increase well-being and competency awareness among students in 25 science programs. The project is supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation with 6.2 million DKK and builds on experiences from a pilot project (2022-2024).

Strengthened Confidence in One's Own Abilities

The project aims to make reflection and awareness of one's competencies a central part of the education programs at the faculty, helping students complete their studies with greater success and better preparing them for a job market that demands their STEM skills. The project includes an interactive digital platform designed to help students reflect on their competencies, strengthen their confidence, and reduce stress. Workshops, reflection activities, and a digital competence portfolio will be integrated into the curriculum, and follow-up research will document the impact.
