Google Scholar

Fedor Shuklin obtained his bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics and Physics from the Moscow Engineering Physics Institute (MEPhI) in 2017,
and the corresponding master's degree from the same university in 2019. In 2020, he joined the Center for Nano Optics (SDU), and subsequently
POLIMA, as a PhD student working on light-matter interactions in parity-time symmetric systems, under the supervision of Christian Wolff.
He successfully defended his thesis, titled ”Extreme light-matter interactions in PT-symmetric systems” in August 2023, with Adi Pick (Hebrew University Jerusalem), Thomas Christensen (Technical University of Denmark) and Jonas Beermann (SDU) as members of the exam committee.

During his stay at SDU, he co-authored the following publications

N. A. Mortensen et al. - Surface-response functions obtained from equilibrium electron-density profiles, Nanophotonics 10, 3647 (2021).
F. A. Shuklin et al. - Fundamental issues with light propagation through PT symmetric systems, Phys. Rev. A 105, 053527 (2022).
C. Tserkezis et al. - Gain-compensated cavities for the dynamic control of light-matter interactions, Phys. Rev. A 107, 043707 (2023).

September 2023, he joined ITMO (St. Petersburg) as a postdoc.
