Apoorv Tiwari er teoretisk fysiker og adjunkt på Centre for Quantum Mathematics (QM) ved Institut for Matematik og Datalogi (IMADA) og Danish Institute for Advanced Study (D-IAS).
Før han kom til SDU, har Tiwari bl.a. forsket ved Niels Bohr International Academy på Københavns Universitet, KTH i Stockholm og som Marie Curie Fellow ved Paul Scherrer Institute på Zürich Universitet.
Han tog sin Ph.d. i fysik på University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Hans forskning støttes af en Villum Young Investigator bevilling fra Villum Fonden (Villum Young Investigator - Villum Fonden - Global Categorical Symmetries and Phases of Quantum Matter 01/09/24 - 31/08/2028).
