The robots are coming - will they be a promise or a peril?

IRELTS explores the technical and societal challenges of integrating robots into daily life, a complex issue that requires designing interactive agents and ensuring their acceptance through interdisciplinary dialogue. It also incorporates aesthetics, such as literature and visual art, to explore the opportunities and risks of robots in everyday environments

IRELTS vision

The project aims to enhance understanding of both robots and humans, emphasising the need for predictive models of human behaviour to ensure smooth interactions and positive societal reception. The vision is to harness the benefits of robots for society while addressing their risks.
