I am thrilled about joining D-IAS as an External Chair. Many of the most pressing challenges for science and society today are interdisciplinary in nature. My own work is in the intersection of communication, social science, data science and law and increasingly interdisciplinary in nature. Being part of and contributing to the stimulating D-IAS environment will be a wonderful and enriching opportunity.
