By car: DIAS can be easily accessed by car from Fioniavej.

By tram: If you are traveling to DIAS by tram, alight at either Campus Odense (the stop by the main entrance) or SDU (the stop closest to DIAS).

By foot: Getting to DIAS by foot from the main entrance is also quite simple. Walk from Gydehutten N until you reach Krogene, then turn right.

FAQ

  • Our weekly events at DIAS are open for everyone – both SDU students and staff and the general public. You don’t have to register to attend unless otherwise stated in the event description.

    With our events, we strive to highlight current research topics in various fields and, in turn, foster interdisciplinary discussions and leave audience members with ample food for thought.

  • If you are employed at SDU and want to book facilities in the DIAS building, please use the 'Room finder' function in Microsoft Outlook, and book them like any other room at SDU.

    • The seminar room can be found  under the name "O-DIAS Seminarrum" and has the room number V24-411-0.
    • The auditorium can be found under the name "OD SAM DIAS Auditorie" and has the room number V24-501a-0.

    As a rule of thumb, both rooms are reserved for DIAS on Wednesdays. If you are planning an event on a Wednesday, please write the DIAS Secretariat and we might be able to find a solution. 

  • Problems with the interior of the auditorium or seminar room

  • As a student, you are free to use our building to study in, both alone and with your study group, but please be mindful of the people working in it. You do that by avoiding noise and by cleaning up after yourself before you leave.

    You may also use the water fountains, but please note that the kitchens and kitchen appliances are for employees only.
