DIAS include chairs and senior fellows from all five faculties at the University of Southern Denmark and a number of external chairs from the University of Copenhagen; extraordinarily scholars with impressive curriculum vitaes.

We believe that our DIAS Fellows are the most significant part of our DIAS core; we are proud of them and we have the highest aspirations for our DIAS Fellows.

Danish Institute for Advanced Study opens in its current form with chairs from all five faculties in 2016. At this time Professor Torben Thorbjørn Knudsen and Professor Francesco Sannino are Directors.

In 2017 the first new DIAS Fellow begins his fellowship. In March 2020 the DIAS House opens for all affiliated with the first floor let out to the eScience Centre and the University Press.

DIAS brings outstanding researchers together in an interdisciplinary center for fundamental research and intellectual fora. We exist to encourage and support curiosity-driven research, and thereby unlock new revolutionary ideas.

DIAS aims to be a centre that gifted researchers strive to be a part of due to the creative, interdisciplinary co-operation, possibilities for development of research and growth of national and international research network.
