Welcome. Presentation by Charlotta Hilli, Docent in pedagogy with a specific interest in Didactic, Åbo Akademi University. Sociomaterial perspectives on Bildung in Higher Education Charlotta Hill will talk about her interests in regarding Bildung processes as sociomaterial formations that shape pedagogical practices in higher education. University students are increasingly moving between digital technologies, spaces, places, humans, and matter while they study. Still, we know little about how these practices unfold and how they affect Bildung processes. Sociomaterial theories bring focus to how matter and humans comingle, something the project cowrite at Åbo Akademi University explores with a focus on academic writing. This presentation will bring reflections on traditions of studies on bildung and development of digital bildung in different cultural contexts. |
