Education

DaWS researchers teach BA and MA courses across the university on topics such as welfare states, public policies, political economy, political philosophy, demography, and history.

We are currently in the process of a major revision of our MSc in Social Sciences in Comparative Public Policy and Welfare Studies. This means we don’t accept new students for this program. We plan to relaunch the program as a political science master (2-years) at the Sønderborg campus in the autumn 2023.

DaWS researchers are also developing courses as part of the JUST SOCIETY project. The project will offer research-based and tailored interdisciplinary courses on the street-level implementation of redistributive public services and benefits from legal and political perspectives. The courses target practitioners working in or with street-level implementation and social policies as well as students in relevant MA-programmes.
