Paola Vázquez-Castillo

Paola Vázquez-Castillo is a PhD student at the Interdisciplinary Centre on Population Dynamics. She has a master of demography by El Colegio de Mexico and a European Master in Demography by the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Her research focuses on mortality and population aging. Her PhD project is about the modal age-at-death and mortality patterns around that age and she is interested in developing mathematical demography tools to study this phenomena.
