Much of CPop's research work relies on extensive databases. Our researchers contribute to the management and development of several databases in both human and non-human demography.

Our researchers contribute to the management and development of several databases in both human and non-human demography. Some of these databases are open access, while others require permissions for access. CPop develops and manages the following databases: 

Non-human species

  • Matrix population models databases
    • Plant Matrix Database (COMPADRE)
    • Animal Matrix Database (COMADRE)
  • Species 360
  • Demographic Index of Species Knowledge (DISKo) and

Human databases

  • Survey of Health, Ageing and Retirement in Europe (SHARE)
