Research interests: Causal Inference, Econometrics, Health Economics, Labor Economics.
Giovanni Mellace is an Associate Professor at the Department of Business and Economics of the University of Southern Denmark. Giovanni’s main research field is Econometrics, in particular he is interested in developing methods for the identification and estimation of causal effects. He is also interested in empirical labor and health economics. His research has been published in leading journals in economics such as: Econometric Theory, Journal of Applied Econometrics, Journal of Business and Economic Statistics, and the Review of Economics and Statistics. Giovanni has been awarded several research grants including: a research project 1 and a research project 2 grants from the Danish Research Council and a grant from the Helsefonden.
