Trifon I. Missov

Trifon I. Missov completed his doctoral studies in Mathematics at the Department of Statistical Simulation of the Saint Petersburg State University (Russia) in 2008. Trifon established himself in the field of Mathematical and Statistical Demography at the Max Planck Institute for Demographic Research (MPIDR) and the University of Rostock, where he held an Assistant Professorship in Mathematical Demography. Trifon specializes in stochastic models of mortality, especially frailty models, in biostatistics, and in forecasting.
