Silvia Rizzi is Associate Professor at the Interdisciplinary Centre on Population Dynamics. She obtained her PhD from University of Southern Denmark in 2018 working at the Department of Epidemiology, Biostatistics and Biodemography. Previously she received a MSc Degree in Economics and Social Sciences from L. Bocconi University in Italy.
Her research focuses on short-term mortality forecasting, inequalities in health, cause-of-death analysis, and modeling of aggregated and limited data. Her work has been published in a wide range of epidemiological and interdisciplinary journals, among others PNAS, International Journal of Epidemiology, Annals of Internal Medicine.
