Jana Vobecká is a demographer, policy analyst and project manager. She works at the Interdisciplinary Centre on Population Dynamics at the University of Southern Denmark. She is interested in population change and its causes and consequences. She likes to help framing important research findings into stories that are interesting for policy makers and wide public.
She has fifteen years of professional experience in basic and applied research and research management. She held positions as a consultant to the United Nations, researcher and project manager in Odense, Vienna, Budapest, Dijon and Prague. She received an award-winning PhD in demography and economics in 2010.
