OPEN’s 10 Year Anniversary Seminar

We wish to invite you to celebrate OPEN’s 10 Year Anniversary with us, December 6^th 2018. OPEN was initiated in 2008 as a collaboration between Odense University Hospital and Department of Clinical Research. Since then we have expanded to cover the entire Region of Southern Denmark and support researchers with facilities and guidance in a number of areas. More than 700 research projects currently benefits from the opportunities in OPEN and our biobank holds more than 540.000 biological samples.

This seminar will show the realm of OPEN projects comprising high quality research of regional, national, and international character and from different areas within health science. Moreover, there will be poster sessions inviting researchers and students to collaborate and exploit the vast amount of clinical data and samples collected by OPEN projects over the years.

The anniversary seminar consists of 35 oral presentations divided into five different parallel sessions. This includes invited international keynote speakers.

Poster session

Researchers with projects enrolled in OPEN, who want to attract collaboration and share data and samples with other researchers, are encouraged to submit an abstract for evaluation. The poster session will consist of a maximum of 30 posters. Your abstract must be sent to henriette.ludvigsen@rsyd.dk no later than Monday, November 5^th, 2018, and will be assessed by the chairmen. Presenters will be informed no later than November 16^th whether their abstract is accepted for poster presentation.

If you are participating with an oral presentation, you are already registered for the whole seminar.

Participation in OPEN’s 10 Year Anniversary Seminar is free of charge, but we reserve the right to invoice 300 DKK in case of absence from the event.
