Social Robots and Human-Robot Interaction
Our research explores different topics, such as the role of robots in enhancing interaction dynamics, trust in human-robot interaction, and persuasive technology, as well as the nature of social robots and the mechanisms behind social robots becoming social actors.
With Herbert H. Clark (Stanford University), Kerstin published a target article with Behavioral and Brain Sciences on How Social Robots become Social Beings (10.1017/S0140525X22002825).
Green Technology Adoption
The aim is to investigate factors that influence the adoption of sustainable technologies, particularly organic solar cells.
Language and linguistics
These projects address research in the areas of second language acquisition, intonation, communication, and construction grammar.
