• Describe your job in 5 words

Angiologist, vascular and endovascular surgeon

• What do you love most about what you do?

I love the challenge of finding tailored solutions for the events and chronic illness of our increasingly complex patients. And, of course, helping them prolong their life, salvage their leg and improve their quality of life is extremely rewarding.

• How did you become involved in TeleGraft?

I had already collaborated with Jes Lindholt and Ulf Hedin in several projects in the past. We are on the same wavelength and work well together. Jes contacted me with the TeleGraft proposal and right away I knew we could add our clinical perspective and research infrastructure in the consortium.  

• What is the best thing about being part of TeleGraft?

 Collaborating and learning from a wide variety of professionals. Opening up to knowledge of areas well outside our field of expertise can be very enriching and open up possibilities and horizons than we could not imagine inside our little world. It is through cross collaboration like this that we will see breakthroughs.

• Tell us a surprising or a fun fact about you

I am hooked on Wordle. A friend and I have been holding a competition for over a year. Whoever wins each round of 100 words, invites the other to lunch. It is really tight!
