AI for spectroscopy and microscopy

• What do you love most about what you do?

I can use mathematics and mathematical tools (typically algorithmic tools) to understand the world better and to make efficient use of (physical/optical) data.

• How did you become involved in TeleGraft?

I met Jes and Martin through other endeavors to develop non-invasive (non-destructive) tools for quality control of ATMPs. TeleGraft is another research collaboration in this direction.

• What is the best thing about being part of TeleGraft?

TeleGraft is an amazing project with excellent partners spread around Europe, and it shows how we can combine our knowledge to generate solutions for challenges, like in the case of TeleGraft artificial dialysis grafts.

• Tell us a surprising or a fun fact about you

I am a mountaineer. I work as a trainer for mountaineering in the German Alpine Club.
