That’s why Henriette Hørlücks Skole and Odense International School have partnered with experts from Centre for Quantum Mathematics to develop a unique educational program focused on quantum computing, quantum software, quantum communication, and much more.

Jesper Bøttiger, a mathematics teacher at Henriette Hørlücks Skole, emphasizes the program’s value: “This is a truly special opportunity for students in grades 8 to 10 to gain insight into a new world within quantum mathematics and hopefully spark an even greater interest in the universe of mathematics.”

The goal is to engage students early and ignite their curiosity, helping them see the vast possibilities within the world of quantum technology. In doing so, the program aims to shape tomorrow’s innovators and problem-solvers.

Professor Jørgen Ellegaard Andersen, Director of the Centre for Quantum Mathematics and DIAS Chair, expresses his enthusiasm for the initiative: “It is a real pleasure to work with young, bright students and introduce them to this exciting field where world-class quantum mathematics meets world-class quantum physics, forming the foundation for the new era of computing that quantum technology offers. It is fantastic to open the doors for this generation early, enabling them to embrace this technology right from the start. And what better place to do this than at DIAS.”

Together, this collaboration is building a strong educational foundation for the next generation of quantum specialists.
