Future Plans
I will be working as part of the commercial team in Pentabase, interfacing with distributors and using my expertise in qPCR-based diagnostics assays to provide support to our clients.

Detailed Research Summary
My PhD research focused on the mechanisms underlying in vivo adipogenesis in mouse eWAT. Analyzing combined single-nucleus RNA- and ATAC-seq data, I characterized heterogeneous subpopulations of adipose stem/progenitor cells and placed them along the adipogenic trajectory. The multiomic data allowed me to predict novel ligand–receptor signals and transcription factors associated with adipogenic progression from adipose stem cells to early pre-adipocytes, to late pre-adipocytes, and finally to mature adipocytes. Owing to the high resolution of single-nucleus data, changes in gene expression and enhancer-driven regulatory elements can likewise be observed at high resolution. This atlas provides a one-of-a-kind resource for single-nucleus inquiry into adipose biology.
