We are currently developing:
- Digital resources that create a sense of security for citizens – e.g., video consultations and health tracking that give citizens control, as well as low-threshold services that provide quick and early help.
- Patient safety based on human factors – prevention of errors and adverse events at OUH by understanding human bias.
- Narrative medicine as a channel for understanding and dialogue – reading and writing literature that trains attentiveness to patients from different backgrounds.
- Measurement and prioritization based on citizens’ needs – quality of life and citizen involvement as quality indicators for treatment.
- Communication with the person behind the illness – training in establishing connection across linguistic and cultural differences.
- Ethics in integrated care pathways – trials with care pathways across sectors organized according to values of dignity and self-determination.
