Sustainable Development in Cambodia

GREENCAP is a project enhancing green capacity in higher education institutions to foster sustainable development in Cambodia.

The GREENCAP project is focusing on developing green capacities in Cambodian universities to support Cambodian’s road map for sustainable development.

The project aims to:

  • Upgrade and develop new curricula and enhance research capabilities to foster sustainable development
  • Develop strong university-private partnerships to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals
  • Raise awareness among young Cambodians to protect the environment and sustainable management of natural resources

In the video, SDU project coordinator Dr. Dewan Ahsan explains why this project is also important for developed countries

The GREENCAP project is co-founded by the Erasmus+ CBHE program of the European Union. The project gathers three European partners, the University of Nantes (France), the University of Southern Denmark (Denmark) and the University of Vigo (Spain) and four Cambodian partners, the Royal University of Law and Economics, the Institute of Technology of Cambodia, the National University of Management, and the University of Battambang.
