FIIBL is part of the The MovECE (Movement in Early Childhood Education), which is a network established in 2020. The network brings together eight partners from five Nordic countries with a shared ambition: to promote physical activity and movement in ECEC (Early Childhood Education and Care).
Nordic Collaboration and Study Module
The network has received funding from Nordplus Higher Education for the collaboration and development of a shared Nordic study module aimed to improve Nordic ECTE programs.
In 2025, MovECE gathered in Denmark for the first pilot of the intensive study program, bringing together students from all partner countries. A revised version of the program will be hosted by the University of Jyväskylä in 2026.

- Produce relevant knowledge on the inclusion of movement in ECTE policy documents.
- Practical insights and deliverables to ensure comprehensive and sustainable impact.
- Promote intercultural competence among the participants in the network.
